Dear friends,

This week I got to see my favorite singer, Ryan who sings under the name of Sleeping at Last, perform live and it has been such a filling experience. I randomly discovered Ryan through Grey’s Anatomy. When shazaming the song played it took me to Sleeping at Last and that had titles like one, three etc. It got me curious on why someone would name their songs numerically just to find out that they were references to Enneagram types. Discovering the Enneagram brought a lot of personal growth and healing. Highly recommend reading up about it.

Alright let’s get into a couple of thoughts of the week:

3 2 Ideas That Made Me Think This Week

  • There is so much knowledge out there up for grabs, why aren’t more people taking advantage of it. So many people want to share what they know via a book, podcast, youtube video, course, blog post etc. There are different price points but some things are free. Read, read, read, and use that knowledge, act on it. Let it help you grow and develop further.
  • Offloading ideas from your head either to a digital platform or physical notebook is such a helpful practice. Not only will it release some space to think but also the fear of losing the ideas goes away as these thoughts won’t get lost in the ocean of daily ideas, worries, to-dos etc.

YouTube Video or Podcast of the week

It’s hard to pick my favorite song from Sleeping at Last.

Quote of the Week

“The key to pursuing excellence is to embrace an organic, long-term learning process, and not to live in a shell of static, safe mediocrity. Usually, growth comes at the expense of previous comfort or safety.” Waitzkin, Josh. The Art of Learning: An Inner Journey to Optimal Performance

Have a great day, and thanks for reading,
